Maxim Lifting Services splashes heart charity logo on its vehicles

A leading UK lifting service provider, which provides contract lifting, plant and equipment hire, has partnered with small heart charity Little Hearts Matter (LHM) to help raise awareness of life with only half a working heart.

Maxim Lifting Services has placed the charity’s logo on its vehicles and website. The lifting services provider will also be carrying out a range of fundraising initiatives over the year.

Maxim Lifting Services decided to support Little Hearts Matter as Ben Holliday, the director of the company and his wife Claire received significant support from the charity after discovering their baby Vinnie had only half a working heart. Claire Holliday said: “When I discovered my baby had half a heart I was heartbroken. When I got home from the hospital I rang Little Hearts Matter and spoke to the lovely team. They were able to explain so much to me in a way I could understand and allowed me to cry and share my heartbreak. We would have been lost without them.”

Bal Kainth, Senior Fundraiser at Little Hearts Matter said: “This sort of support means so much to us. We are a very small charity and very few people even know that people can actually be born with half a heart, so having our logo placed on Maxim’s vehicles and website will help us to raise awareness of the children we support, our families and the work we do. Thank you maxim, we are so grateful.”
