Little Hearts Matter Awareness Week
1-7th May 2022 – “Thriving, not just Surviving.”
Hosted by Little Hearts Matter.
The LHM Awareness Week is an annual social media campaign, creating an opportunity for the public to recognise the LHM cause and the people we support. You can learn more about our cause by clicking here. The event started four years ago in 2019 and has since become a significant date on the LHM calendar.
Each year, the Little Hearts Matter Team continues to set the theme, organise and host the week.
Why “Thriving, not just Surviving”?
This year, we will be highlighting the specific challenges faced by children, teenagers and adult with half a working heart, with an aim to create a world that is more inclusive for them, allowing them to Thrive, not just Survive.
From listening to our members, we have drawn the follow focus points for our campaign – education, energy, isolation and mental health. These themes will be amplified through stories, quotes and messages that we have collected from members of the charity.
So, in May 2022, join us to amplify the many voices of children, teenagers and adults with half a working heart.
