Sophiella Taylor
Assistant to the Head of Service
Sophiella previously worked at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Trust listening to families’ personal experiences of maternity care working closely with the Neonatal Unit, Fetal and Maternal Medicine and many departments across the hospital setting.
She also served the wider community by regularly engaging with families and advocating on their behalf; having a broad view of the maternity care system, both antenatally and postnatally. Her previous background working within community engagement and events, specifically with diverse groups, means I’ll connect with you from place of lived experience and understanding.

Outside of work I am a mother first, love to travel, run community events and a passionate women’s health advocate. I like to get out into nature often. I am also a trainee therapist and spend much of my time studying as part of continuous learning."
