Amy Atkin is a 44-year-old single ventricle Fontan patient, born with Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), Pulmonary Stenosis (PS), and Ventricular Septal Defects (VSDs). She has undergone multiple surgeries, including the Fontan procedure, and continues to manage her condition in adulthood.

Outside of her medical journey, Amy is a passionate advocate for congenital heart disease awareness she shares her own journey via social media and has spoken at medical events about her experiences and is an active fundraiser, having run the Manchester 10k twice to support causes close to her heart.  Amy is deeply committed to empowering children with CHD and educating them about their condition as part of her role at Little Hearts Matter, working directly with 7 to 11-year-olds. Outside of work, she enjoys travel, reading, dining out, and walking.

In her professional life, Amy is a Chief Marketing Officer-level consultant with extensive experience in strategic communications and brand development.
