What is a Community Fundraising Volunteer (On-the-Go/Cheer Squad)?

Be the friendly face of Little Hearts Matter in the community. This role is about encouragement, visibility, and celebration but not pressure or selling.

What you might do

  • Collect donations using official charity buckets at local venues or events
  • Cheer on fundraisers at runs, walks, or challenge events
  • Help hand out medals, water, or encouragement at events
  • Help create a positive atmosphere at stalls, fairs, or community days
  • Take photos (with consent) or help thank supporters on the day

Good to know

  • No experience neededas full guidance provided
  • You don’t need to share a personal story or ask for donations directly
  • Suitable for individuals, families, young people (with supervision), and groups

Ideal for:
People who like being out and about, want a practical, feel-good way to help, or are supporting someone taking part in a challenge.

Time commitment: One-off or occasional
