What is an Antenatal Volunteer?

A current or ex cardiac liaison nurse with vast experience working with the single ventricle community. This volunteer will receive referrals from the LHM team from new parents that have an antenatal diagnosis of SVHC. They will support the couple via phone/email/text until either birth/termination.

Skillset needed;

Empathetic approach
Reassuring and supportive telephone manner
Medical experience of supporting life with a single ventricle heart condition
Confident working alone
Dedicated and dependable
Clean enhanced DBS
