Our Adult Services are available for free to any adult (over the age of 18) living with a single ventricle heart condition in the UK. You need to sign up to be a member of the charity to access the services, you can do that by clicking here.
Our Adult Services are led by our fab new Adult Services Lead, Lorna Carruthers. Lorna has joined us for 2 days a week whilst continuing to work as the lead adult congenital nurse specialist, based at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.
Below you will find the different ways we can offer support.
Phone support
Contacting us for support has never been easier. If you have a question or need help with something, or maybe even just need a chat, you can call or text our support line. Our office line is open Monday to Friday 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM every day and Lorna’s text service is open two days a week.

Social Media
Our private Facebook messenger group for our SVH Adult members is a perfect place to talk to each other, share experiences and ask questions. Joining this group provides access to our community of other adults with a similar heart condition.

Friends for life are found at our events.
All of our SVH Adult Members are invited to attend physical and online events throughout the year. This ranges from our open day conference, activity weekends for you and your partners, as well as online hangouts and Q&A’s. We organise these events to give you a chance to meet other people going through similar experiences.
