SUMMARY:LHM Open Day & AGM
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to be able to invite our members to our 2022 Open Day and AGM. Our first face to face meeting for two years. The theme of this year’s meeting is Getting the Most from Life. The last couple of years have slowed the opportunities for the children\, teenagers and adults with a single ventricle heart condition. The aim of the conference is to open up opportunities whilst offering support. \nWhere?\nYarnfield Park\, Stone\, Staffordshire\, ST15 0NL \nWhen?\nSaturday 12th March 2022 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat’s on?\nWe have attracted speakers from across the UK and will be offering sessions on exercise\, relationships\, maximizing the potential of the heart\, mindfulness and access to benefits and support in education. A full break down of the event line-up will have been sent to all of our members via post. \nWe will also be offering a parallel conference for our adult members in partnership with the Somerville Foundation. An opportunity for us to welcome our adults with a single ventricle heart\, their partners and children to take a full part in the conference. \nHow to attend\nGeneral applications have now closed\, but if you wish to join the event\, please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page and we will do everything we can to include you. \nWhere to stay\nThis year\, we will not be handling accommodation bookings\, however there is a hotel on the conference venue site\, so we hope that families travelling to the conference will be able to stay. \nWe have put together a page to explain all the accommodation options\, please click here to jump to it.  \nTravel Bursary\nWe know some members have to travel a long way to get to the Midlands for the Open Day and the costs can make the event out of reach for some families.
