We’re bringing back the Little Hearts Matter youth council in 2020!
The LHM youth council is an amazing way to make sure we as a charity make sure the youth member’s voice, your voice is the one that leads the way. To do this we are looking to recruit 6 LHM youth members aged 11 (secondary school aged) to 18 years old that were willing to commit to a long term role as a LHM youth councillor.
So what does someone in the youth council do?
A member of the youth council represents the voice of the young people we support, young people like you! This is a very important role so the people we are looking for will need to be dedicated and want to make a positive difference. This is a long-term position.
You will take part in many things including……
-
Attending quarterly virtual meetings to discuss any points of business or new ideas.
-
Work closely with council members and Lexie to ensure the support and info is what the youth members want and need.
-
Ensuring that LHM youth services are reaching their full potential.
-
Reviewing any new publications, website content or other information for support.
-
Communicating with other LHM youth members to see what new ideas can be brought forward.
If you are interested email Lexie on [email protected] by Friday 20th December 2019.
The new youth council will be announced by Monday 6th January 2020.
