Antenatal Information and Support

These services can be accessed through the Little Hearts Matter office line on 0121 455 8982.

The team offers information on diagnosis and treatments and their own personal experience of coping with antenatal decision-making.

We also have an antenatal support pack available. To download the pack or to order one click here and you will be taken to our Publications page.

Our Antenatal Information booklet contains lots of information about the different tests you can have, the treatment options available and an explanation of each option and what you can expect.

Our Antenatal Diagnosis - Questions to Ask leaflet is a list of questions that you might want to ask your medical team when making the difficult decision about what is the right treatment choice for you and your baby.

Our Antenatal Information DVD contains interviews with both medical professionals and also with parents who received a single ventricle diagnosis antenatally. Part of the DVD can be viewed on the Publications & DVDs page and we hope to be able to show the full interviews online shortly.

Sarah Green and her husband Les, have three daughters, the youngest, Sophie, has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Sophie and her mother have been doing a great deal to spread awareness of congenital heart disease and the work of the charity by appearing in national newspapers and on local television.
