Clare Goodenough

I am a member of the support team and my husband Dave and I have two children, Will aged 14 with HLHS and Mary aged 10. We are regular attendees of LHM functions in an effort to encourage and support other families. Will has spoken for the charity on a number of occasions at awareness events including the House of Commons and Lords.

Sally Evans

Hello! My name is Sally Evans and I'm married to Spencer. I'm Mum to 2 boys - Joe age 10 (heart healthy) and Thomas age 6 (HLHS). We live in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire and Thomas is under the care of Birmingham Children's Hospital. He has had all 3 stages - the 1st at 2 days, the 2nd at 3 months and the 3rd at 4 1/2 years.

Thomas was diagnosed antenatally and since then we’ve had many ups and downs but he’s doing really well now. He loves school, swimming and playing with his big brother.

Vanda Shaw

Hello, my name is Vanda Phillips- Shaw, I am a member of the Little Hearts Matter support network in the West Midlands and over the years my family have enjoyed many LHM events and made lots of friends.

I am a Primary school teacher and have four children, Emily (23), Alex (20), Edward (14) and Charlie (8). Edward was born in September 1995 and is now 14years old. I enjoy helping to organise events which aim to foster support amongst other families with children with single ventricular conditions.

Edward and his siblings have gained so much from meeting and socialising with other families and I would like to enable and encourage other families to access the support available through my role as a network support leader.
