I live in Cardiff with my partner Faye, we have four children, Katelyn 7, Luke 5, Joel 4, and Miley 6 months. My son Luke was born with a Double Inlet left Ventricle with various other Heart defects and an Imperforate Anus. He had his Glenn shunt in October 2005, and recently underwent a cardiac catheter procedure from which complications arose and has difficulty standing/walking. However this doesn't seem to stop him and he carries on as normal, as children do!

Luke is in mainstream primary school and doing really well. I am currently studying to become a Social Worker to continue helping families and children. I will be arranging events in 2010 to give an opportunity for families to meet and allow the children to have a fun day out, I will let you know of these in the near future.
