Peter Turner - Chair
Pete lives with his wife Alison in Cardiff. Both of his sons, Will and Charlie, were born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. However, Will also suffered from an additional genetic condition which claimed his life when he was only 15 minutes old.
Charlie is now 7 years old and has now had all three stages of surgery, with his Fontan completion in 2010. He is a happy, lively little boy who is doing really well at school and is a real joy to his family and friends. He is proud of his 'special heart' and lives life to the full.
Pete works as a Senior Manager for the Lloyds Banking Group, looking after sales planning and performance for the Savings business. This involves detailed planning, reporting and financial analysis across a range of products, channels and brands, as well as relationship management with internal and external partners. Prior to this, he was in retail and account management for companies including Canon and Toshiba.
