Julie York
Apart from being mum to one of our Youth Councillors, Evie, and her six-year old brother Freddie, Julie runs a busy PR and Marketing consultancy for large US & UK Internet Marketing businesses.
As a trained National Press journalist, Julie has over 20 years PR and Communications experience and has worked both inhouse and directly with a number of large corporations including IPC Media, Woolworths, British Midland, The Post Office, Land Securities, Norsk Hydro, the Co-op and United Artists. She has equally never stopped writing professionally and regularly contributes to a collection of National Consumer and Business titles.
In 2004, Julie and her husband Ben made a life-changing decision to leave their London base to move home to Cornwall. The aim was to give Evie & Freddie the freedom and pleasure of living in a rural, uncomplicated and safe environment. Bodmin Moor ticks all of these boxes, allowing Evie and Fred to alternate their free time between the beach and riding their ponies on the Moor.
