Heart and Lifestyle Information

Discovering that your baby has a complicated heart problem is extremely stressful and frightening for most parents.

Trying to understand the diagnosis and treatments at a time of stress leaves many parents feeling confused and worried.

This section of the site has been written to try and answer the many questions that parents ask as they gradually learn more about their child’s condition, its treatments and the lifestyle issues that go with such a complex diagnosis. It does not replace the need to talk to the medical and nursing staff looking after your child but hopefully it will complement their advice.

If, having read the information within the site, you feel that it would be useful to have further information please give us a ring on the Little Hearts Matter helpline 0121 455 8982 or email us at info@lhm.org.uk
