National Sports Fun Day

Children's Heart Week (9th - 17th May 2009) aims to raise awareness of CHD's.

Part of this Awareness week is an event being run by the Children’s Heart Federation on Saturday 16th of May at Weston Park, Shropshire.

There will be:

Five-aside football in association with Shropshire Football association

Giant egg and spoon, obsticle and sack races

Tag rugby in asscoiation with Tag Rugby Development Fund

Circus skills - learn how to spin plates, walk on stilts and even ride a unicycle!

Outdoor bowling

Minuture railway - take a 12 minute steam ride through the woods of this magical venue

Adventure playground -fun for all the family!

Meet other heart families

Meet other heart groups and make new friends!

There will be food available to buy on the day or you can bring along a picnic! There is also a farm shop and a gallery to look around.

All of the West and East Midlands families will be invited to this sports day as their Network event but any Little Hearts Matter member families are welcome to join us there. The more the merrier!

Times: 11am until 3.30pm
