CHF Dragon Boat Race

Are you ready to set sail down the mighty Thames aboard the fearsomely fun dragon boat? Breathe some fire into your fundraising by joining in with this wet and wild way of closing Children's Heart Week 2012.

All proceeds raised at this event will go towards supporting children with congenital and acquired heart disease and their families across the UK and Ireland.

The grand CHF dragon boat race day will take place on Sunday 20th May 2012 at Surrey Docks Watersports Centre, Rotherhithe from 11am.

The Children's Heart Week Dragon Boat Challenge works on a regatta format, each team has a minimum of 3 races (3 rounds of racing) with the single fastest times of the three rounds of racing used to seed the teams for the grand final.

This event is being organised by the Children's Heart federation as part of Children's Heart Week.

You can enter as a family, individual or corporate team.

Entry Price for families affected by congenital heart disease is £50 per person, for individuals it is £68 per person and both include:
•Your name in the event programme;
•Lunch and refreshment;
•Professional photograph for you to keep;
•Photograph feature on CHF website, in the CHF newsletter;
•Acknowledgement on the CHF facebook and twitter pages;
•Acknowledgement in commentary;
•Official race timings;
•Certificate and medal;
•Your name in the event programme.
